Tamara Almand _______________________________________
In January 2000, Tamara Almand began work with the Site Assessment Program in the Hazardous Waste Division at the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ). In June 2006, she became the Coordinator for the Arkansas State Brownfields Program and joined the ASTSWMO State Response and Brownfields Program Operations (SRBPO) Task Force in August 2006. As Brownfields Coordinator, Ms. Almand is responsible for planning, coordinating, managing, and marketing Arkansas’ Brownfields Program and the State Brownfields Revolving Loan Fund Program.
Prior to joining ADEQ, Ms. Almand worked for the Arkansas Department of Health as an Environmental Health Specialist. She is a Registered Sanitarian; a member and Past President of the Arkansas Society of Professional Sanitarians; was appointed by former Arkansas Governor Huckabee to a 5-year term on the State Board of Registered Sanitarians where she served as Chairman of the Board; and is a member of the Arkansas Public Health Association.
Eric Bergman _________________________________________
Eric Bergman is Director of the Office of Smart Growth in the Colorado Department of Local Affairs. The office provides technical and financial assistance to local governments throughout Colorado in the areas of land use planning and growth management, and is involved in related legislative and policy issues. Mr. Bergman holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a Master’s in Environmental Studies from The Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington. Prior to working in state government, he served as director of research and communications for Colorado Counties, Inc. Mr. Bergman lives in Westminster with his wife, Sandra, and their two sons, Cole and Porter.
Janine Commerford ____________________________________
Janine Commerford serves as Assistant Commissioner for the Bureau of Waste Site Cleanup in the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection. The Bureau has primary responsibility for ensuring timely and protective cleanups of oil and hazardous waste sites across the state, including state and federal sites, emergency response, and Brownfields.
Ms. Commerford holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Geology from MIT and has over 20 years of experience in the environmental field. In addition to her work with Massachusetts DEP, she has also done consulting work in New Jersey and Massachusetts. She is a Licensed Site Professional (LSP) in the State of Massachusetts and a Registered Professional Geologist.
Ms. Commerford also serves as Chair of the Board of Registration of Hazardous Waste Site Cleanup professionals (the LSP Board), sits on the Scientific Advisory Board for the UMass Amherst International Conference on Contaminated Soils, Sediments, and Water, and on the Board of Directors of the Northeast Waste Management Officials’ Association (NEWMOA). She is currently the Region 1 representative on the ASTSWMO SRBPO Task Force.
Thomas Crause _______________________________________
Tom Crause has worked with the Illinois EPA for 24 years, and currently manages the Office of Site Evaluation in the Bureau of Land. His Office is charged with the responsibility of conducting environmental investigations of suspected hazardous waste sites, and under his direction, the Office has conducted more than one thousand CERCLA (Superfund), State enforcement, and Brownfield investigations and has assisted several cities with Brownfield assessments.
Mr. Crause also serves as Vice-Chair of the ASTSWMO CERCLA Site Evaluation Focus Group and Brownfields Site Assessment Work Group, and is a member of US EPA’s National Site Assessment Conference Planning Committee. He represented State interests on US EPA’s ‘All Appropriate Inquiry’ negotiated rulemaking committee, and he is currently a member of the Academy of Certified Hazardous Material Managers.
Mr. Crause obtained his Bachelor and Master of Science degrees from Southern Illinois University.
Stephen Dyment _______________________________________
Steve Dyment is a chemist with more than 15 years experience, including four years in a commercial analytical laboratory and eight years in environmental consulting. Mr. Dyment joined the US EPA in 2005 with a focus towards enhancing acceptance and use of emerging analytical technologies and sampling strategies. His perspective draws upon years of practical laboratory and field experience to apply EPA’s Triad Approach at sites in Superfund, Brownfields, RCRA, UST and State programs. Mr. Dyment’s efforts have resulted in the development of numerous EPA case studies, profiles, and training courses that outline successful strategies for the use and understanding of collaborative data sets, adaptive QC programs, and real time analytics. Mr. Dyment holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science/Toxicology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
Brent H. Everett ______________________________________
Brent Everett is the CERCLA Branch Manager with the Division of Environmental Response and Remediation at the Utah Department of Environmental Quality. He has been with the agency for nearly 18 years working in the Superfund Program as a project manager, section manager, and currently as the Superfund branch manager. In addition to his Superfund responsibilities, Mr. Everett was the first Coordinator of the Utah Voluntary Cleanup and Brownfields Programs and oversaw the creation of the Clandestine Drug Lab Contractor Certification program.
Mr. Everett is a Utah-registered Professional Geologist. He holds both B.S. and M.S. degrees in Geology from Brigham Young University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Utah. Since 1996, Mr. Everett has been an adjunct faculty member of the Biology Department at Utah Valley State College, teaching Human Anatomy in his “spare” time.
Clarence Featherson ___________________________________
Clarence Featherson is a senior attorney in US EPA’s Office of Site Remediation Enforcement (OSRE). He works closely with EPA’s Office of General Counsel, EPA’s Regional Offices and the Department of Justice on enforcement issues related to cleaning up sites polluted with hazardous wastes. Mr. Featherson is a member of OSRE’s Aviall/ARC Team. He has worked on matters related to the government’s involvement in the Aviall & Atlantic Research (“ARC”) cases since September of 2002. He is presently working closely with EPA’s Regional Offices, EPA’s Office of Brownfields and Land Revitalization and EPA’s Office of General Counsel on post-Aviall/ARC litigation and policy development.
Mr. Featherson received his A.B. Degree from Brown University and a J.D. Degree with honors from Howard University’s School of Law. He is an Advanced Toastmaster and enjoys making presentations to ASTSWMO.
Darsi Foss ___________________________________________
Darsi Foss is the Chief of the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources’ (WDNR) Brownfields and Outreach Section. Ms. Foss has 22 years of policy and program experience associated with cleaning up and reusing contaminated properties, both at the federal and state levels. While at US EPA’s headquarters in Washington, DC, she worked on policy issues pertaining to RCRA corrective action and Superfund, including the National Contingency Plan.
Ms. Foss has been with the WDNR for the past 18 years, working on brownfields the last 13 years. She has played a significant role in the development of the state’s comprehensive clean up rules, the One Clean up Program MOA, Wisconsin’s innovative environmental insurance programs, Brownfields Study Group and the development of state legislation on brownfields tax incentives, grant programs, brownfields revolving loan program, liability exemptions and land use controls.
Jim Gilstrap __________________________________________
Jim Gilstrap is an environmental engineer focused on promoting and marketing of the Missouri DNR’s efforts in Brownfields Cleanup and Redevelopment. He leads a coalition of Departmental programs in cooperation with other agencies, to increase the success of redevelopment in Missouri. Before joining the DNR in 2002, Mr. Gilstrap was with ExxonMobil Chemical Company for 32 years in marketing, sales, and business development management. Mr. Gilstrap holds a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Missouri at Rolla.
Sharon Goble _________________________________________
Sharon Goble is the Leaking Underground Storage Tank Program Specialist for Michigan's petroleum cleanup program and is involved in policy and technical issues, coordination of EPA's LUST grant, administration of Michigan's Storage Tank Information Database, and is liaison to US EPA and other government agencies. She has been with the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality’s (DEQ’s) Remediation and Redevelopment Division for approximately 2.5 years.
Ms. Goble has over 19 years experience with a variety of DEQ programs including water quality, hazardous waste, Office of the Great Lakes, and pollution prevention programs. She has a B.S. and M.B.A from Michigan State University, and has completed coursework towards a Ph.D. in environmental toxicology.
Steve Goins __________________________________________
Steve Goins is an Environmental Program Manager with the Tennessee Division of Remediation (DoR). The Division identifies sites that pose a threat to public health or the environment and then works to resolve that threat. Mr. Goins is responsible for the Division’s Financial & Administrative Operations. He serves as the Technical Secretary for the Tennessee Drycleaner Environmental Response Board and Chairs the State Coalition for the Remediation of Drycleaners.
Mr. Goins holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Accounting) degree from Austin Peay State University and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant. Prior to joining the DoR, he served as the Audit Director for the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation. Mr. Goins lives in Mount Juliet, TN with his wife, and has three children in college.
Barry Hersh __________________________________________
Mr. Hersh is a member in Vita Nuova, LLC and Associate Director of Newman Real Estate Institute, CUNY. He has practical experience in the development industry and is one of the leading Brownfields developers in the country, having managed the acquisition of over $150 million in environmentally-impacted properties from commercial to heavy industrial nationwide. His experience in the development field includes over 25 years in various positions including
Development Director for a municipality, Executive Director of a Community Development Corporation, and senior real estate official for a Fortune 100 corporation. Mr. Hersh has served as a design leader and organizer of dozens of design workshops and charrettes including waterfront restoration projects, corporate parks and housing sites.
Mr. Hersh has taught at several universities and for various development organizations
including Columbia University, the New York State Builders Association, and the University of Toledo. He is a leader in the development and planning fields, serving on many boards and in numerous industry leadership capacities. Mr. Hersh is currently chair of the Developers Group for the National Brownfields Association; Chair of the Finance Committee at The Waterfront Center; and Board Member of the Partnership for Sustainable Brownfields Redevelopment. He is also a member of the Urban Land Institute, NAIOP, and NACORE.
Jere “Trey” Hess ______________________________________
Trey Hess is the Brownfields Program Coordinator for the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) and has been with the MDEQ for 14 years. He was instrumental in the development of the Program’s tiered approach to determining realistic, site-specific cleanup options. While working in the Uncontrolled Sites Section, he managed soil and groundwater cleanups at industrial and commercial facilities. His career started in the Groundwater Division where he provided oversight of the design and operation of solid waste management operations at industrial and commercial facilities.
Mr. Hess is a registered Professional Engineer and a Board Certified Environmental Engineer (BCEE). He received his Bachelor’s degree and an MBA from Mississippi State University and has a Master’s degree from Ole Miss.
Tiffani Kavalec _______________________________________
Tiffani Kavalec has been with the Ohio EPA since 1995. She has been the manager in the Division of Emergency and Remedial Response’s (DERR) Site Assessment and Brownfield Revitalization Program since its inception in January 2002. Some of her current duties include coordinating the Clean Ohio Fund (COF) with existing Ohio EPA programs, coordinating with the Department of Development on COF program development and training, providing community revitalization support to potential applicants, and overseeing the Targeted Brownfield Assessment program as well as the division’s federal Site Assessment Program.
Prior to becoming a manager, Ms. Kavalec worked for over five years as an Environmental Specialist in DERR’s Remedial Enforcement Program. Her duties there included development of remedial enforcement cases, negotiating administrative and judicial consent orders, assisting in Attorney General’s Office referrals, serving as witness for various litigation, and developing guidance and policies for statewide use.
Ms. Kavalec holds a B.S. in Environmental Science from Indiana University’s School of Public and Environmental Affairs.
David R. Lloyd ________________________________________
David Lloyd is the Director of the Office of Brownfields and Land Revitalization in the EPA Office of Solid Waste and Emergency Response. He assumed this position in January of 2006 after holding a variety of positions in the areas of private and government legal practice, real estate operations and development. From 2002 to 2005, Mr. Lloyd served as the national director of EPA’s facilities and real estate program. In this position, he oversaw the construction, alterations, leasing operations and maintenance of the Agency’s 191 facilities nationwide, focusing on sustainable design and development. Mr. Lloyd held the position of EPA’s Assistant General Counsel for Claims and Property Law, and prior to that he worked in private law practice in the areas of commercial real property and civil litigation.
Mr. Lloyd received his undergraduate degree from George Washington University and a law degree from Washington and Lee University in 1988.
Meghan T. Lynch ______________________________________
Meghan Lynch is a Project Manager at the Worcester Business Development Corporation (WBDC) in Worcester, MA. She has worked on the Gateway Park brownfield redevelopment project in Worcester, MA since 2003. In partnership with WPI, the Gateway Park project is currently a 12-acre brownfields revitalization effort, with a master plan for 55-acres. This project has involved the assembly, clean-up and redevelopment of an underutilized and environmentally impacted area of land north of the City’s downtown district and is the 2007 EPA Region I recipient of the Phoenix Award. As project manager, Ms. Lynch has overseen permitting, environmental and regulatory compliance, legal and insurance issues associated with the project.
In addition to her project management responsibilities, Ms. Lynch addresses public forums and hearings about the community impact of the clean-up and redevelopment efforts at Gateway Park. She is a member of the statewide Brownfields Advisory Group and the Chair of the Worcester Mayor’s Brownfields Roundtable.
Prior to working at the WBDC, Meghan interned at the US EPA in Washington, DC, where she worked as a consultant in the environmental health field. She has also worked as a medicinal chemistry research assistant in the pharmaceutical industry. Ms. Lynch received a B.A. in chemistry from the College of the Holy Cross, a Master’s of Public Health (MPH) from Boston University, and a doctorate in Environmental Health from Boston University School of Public Health.
James Mack __________________________________________
James Mack has 25 years of experience performing investigations and remediation at environmentally impacted sites. This includes projects throughout the country involving a wide variety of contaminants and environmental conditions. He has been responsible for all aspects of project implementation, from negotiating the scope of work with regulators to data interpretation and regulatory acceptance. Currently, Mr. Mack is Director of the Brownfield Technical Assistance Program at the Northeast Hazardous Substance Research Center (NHSRC), located at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. The NHSRC was created to provide education, training, technology development and direct technical support to communities, municipal officials, State and Federal regulators and others involved with Brownfields redevelopment.
Louis Martino ________________________________________
Louis Martino is an Environmental systems engineer at Argonne National Laboratory in Washington, DC. Mr. Martino is a Certified Hazardous Material Manager with expertise in the following areas: hazardous waste site investigation/remediation techniques, pollution prevention, property transfer and compliance auditing, and regulatory policy analysis. He has over 25 years experience working in these disciplines. In the past, Mr. Martino worked for the State of Maryland, environmental consulting firms, and the insurance industry. Most recently, Mr. Martino has been involved in the investigation/remediation of US Army installations impacted by fuel release sites, chemical warfare agent testing/disposal sites, and OB/OD units. Mr. Martino has also been involved as a facilitator in US EPA and US Air Force-sponsored Triad projects.
Patricia Overmeyer ____________________________________
Patricia Overmeyer works in the US EPA’s Office of Brownfields and Land Revitalization. During her tenure at US EPA, she coordinated the development of the final rule that establishes standards and practices for conducting “all appropriate inquiries.” Ms. Overmeyer served as the Designated Federal Official for the Agency’s Federal Advisory Committee that was tasked with developing the proposed regulation on all appropriate inquiries. She also leads EPA’s “Portfields” federal partnership which is dedicated to promoting the revitalization of port communities.
Ms. Overmeyer managed the EPA’s task force that developed policy and guidance on the definition of a “brownfield site” in accordance with the provisions provided in the Small Business Liability Relief and Brownfields Revitalization Act. Prior to joining EPA’s Office of Brownfields, she worked in EPA’s Office of Solid Waste in the Hazardous Waste Identification Division. Ms. Overmeyer earned her M.S. from Carnegie-Mellon’s School of Urban and Public Affairs and has a B.A. in economics from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Dan Powell ___________________________________________
Dan Powell is a Branch Chief in US EPA’s Office of Superfund Remediation and Technology Innovation. Mr. Powell leads efforts to promote awareness and the use of best practices and innovative technologies for site clean-up at hazardous waste sites across all waste programs. He manages programs to support project managers within EPA, States and at the local level through a coordinated program of information development and dissemination, training and direct site support. His Branch provides direct support to project managers in the application of streamlined approaches to site investigation (e.g., the “Triad Approach”) and the use of optimization practices to improve the design and operation of remedial systems and long-term monitoring operations. His Branch also develops and maintains a variety of publications and information delivery systems such as the Clean-Up Information (CLU-IN), the Triad Resource Center, the Brownfields Technology Support Center, and Training Exchange (TrainEx) internet sites. Mr. Powell came to the Agency in 1988 as a Presidential Management Intern.
Mr. Powell holds a Masters degree in Public Administration from the Woodrow Wilson School of Government at the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and urban studies from Roanoke College in Salem, VA.
Joseph P. Riley, Jr. ____________________________________
Mayor Joseph P. Riley, Jr. has been Mayor of Charleston since December, 1975 and has held that position for an unprecedented 8 terms. Due to his numerous accomplishments in areas such as public safety, housing, arts and culture, the creation of park and other public spaces, and economic revitalization and development, he is widely considered one of the most visionary and highly effective local governmental leaders in America. As a lifelong Charleston resident, Mayor Riley has become a leading expert on urban design and livability issues and is a frequent speaker across the country on these topics.
Mayor Riley has held numerous national leadership positions and received many awards and distinctions. He was a founder of the Mayors' Institute for City Design (MICD) and has provided critical urban design support to mayors across America. He received the 1994 Thomas Jefferson Award from the American Institute of Architects for Public Architecture for “his exceptional leadership and ‘Jeffersonian’ vision in redefining the promise and, ultimately the future, of our nation and its cities.” In 1997, Mayor Riley received the Seaside Prize from the Seaside Institute for exemplary leadership and contributions to high-quality urban design throughout America. The American Society of Landscape Architects has also named him an Honorary Member for his leadership and vision.
Mr. Riley was born in Charleston in 1943. He is a 1964 graduate from The Citadel and in 1967, he graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law. In 1968, Mayor Riley was elected to the South Carolina House of Representatives, where he served for 6 years. He and his wife, Charlotte, have two sons, Joe and Bratton.
Michael J. Ryan _______________________________________
Michael Ryan is a Section Chief with the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation. He has worked for over 20 years in the Department’s Division of Environmental Remediation. Mr. Ryan has worked on a variety of inactive hazardous waste disposal sites, and in recent years, he has worked extensively on brownfield projects, directing investigations, design and construction of remedial programs. These projects include Brownfield Cleanup Program sites, Environmental Restoration Program sites, and Brownfield Opportunity Area projects.
Mr. Ryan has served as the Region 2 representative on ASTSWMO’s SRBPO Task Force since 2004. He is also a registered Professional Engineer.
Aaron Scheff _________________________________________
Aaron Scheff manages the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality’s (IDEQ) Brownfield Response Program. Aside from providing cost-free site specific environmental assessments, risk evaluations, and cleanup planning at qualifying brownfield sites, his Program is engaged in inventorying brownfield sites throughout Idaho and conducting outreach in urban and rural communities to assist local governments, non-profits, and private entities with their brownfield redevelopment projects. The Program is a member of the Reuse Idaho Brownfields Coalition (RIBC) which is composed of IDEQ and Idaho’s six economic development districts. The RIBC manages a $3,000,000 revolving loan fund dedicated to providing loans and sub grants to eligible entities in support of brownfield cleanup activities. The Program also coordinates with IDEQ’s Voluntary Cleanup Program to implement the Community Reinvestment Pilot Initiative (Pilot), which makes $1,500,000 in state funds available to private and non-profit entities completing IDEQ-approved cleanups at up to 10 brownfield sites statewide.
Andy Shivas __________________________________________
Andy Shivas is the Program Manager of the Voluntary Cleanup Oversight and Assistance Program (VOAP) for the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (DEC). He also functions as the Department’s Brownfields Coordinator and is the primary contact person for information regarding Brownfields issues in Tennessee. He has worked for the State of Tennessee for 30 years in the Departments of Mental Health and Retardation, Health and Environment and Conservation. Mr. Shivas is the chairperson and Region 4 representative for the ASTSWMO SRBPO Task Force. He also currently serves on the Brownfields Advisory Committee for the National Association of Local Government Environmental Professionals (NALGEP).
Mr. Shivas holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the Middle Tennessee State University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and History from the University of Memphis. He currently resides in Nashville with his wife, Beverly, and has two daughters, Jessica and Hannah, who are students at the University of Wisconsin and Auburn University, respectively. Since 1974, Mr. Shivas has studied and played mandolin and various mandolin family instruments as well as clawhammer banjo. He has been a member of several Nashville-area old time fiddle, bluegrass and celtic music groups and currently serves as a board member for the Nashville Old Time String Band Association.
Amanda Stone ________________________________________
Amanda Stone is the Director of the Waste Programs Division at the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality. In her capacity as Director, Ms. Stone is responsible for the oversight of cleanups at state and federal superfund sites, permitting, inspections and compliance related to hazardous and solid waste facilities and activities, waste reduction through pollution prevention and recycling, and facilitation of expedited remediation and property reuse through the state’s Voluntary Remediation and Brownfields Programs.
Ms. Stone holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Arizona State University and has been the Region 9 representative on the ASTSWMO SRBPO Task Force for the past 2 years.
Michael B. Taylor _____________________________________
Michael B. Taylor is President of Vita Nuova, LLC. He is a leading strategist in implementing redevelopment at brownfields, RCRA and Superfund sites, and is an expert in public-private partnerships for redevelopment as well as in developing strategies to get highly-encumbered
properties back to the market. Mr. Taylor works in some of the toughest areas of the country, including small rural areas, inner city environmental justice neighborhoods and some of the most contaminated sites in the country.
Mr. Taylor chaired the ASTM task group for the National Standard on Sustainable Brownfields Redevelopment. He has trained over 800 state and federal regulators in real estate and redevelopment of contaminated properties and has contributed to national brownfields and superfund redevelopment policy.
Mr. Taylor was a graduate Rockefeller fellow at Yale University, where he studied Environmental Science, Public Policy and Ethics. He graduated Cum Laude in Urban
Planning and Economics from Roanoke College, and recently co-taught a course in Land Use and Environmental Decision-making at Columbia School of Law.
Jim Van der Kloot _____________________________________
Jim Van der Kloot is the Land Revitalization Coordinator for US EPA in Region 5. After working as a Superfund project manager in the late '80s and early '90s, he was loaned out to the City of Chicago for a period of three years to manage the start-up of Chicago's Brownfields Initiative. Upon returning to EPA, Mr. Van der Kloot became the Brownfields Coordinator, and from there his job focus shifted toward Sustainable Redevelopment of Brownfields.
Mr. Van der Kloot has B.S. Degrees in Biochemistry and Geology from Michigan State University.
Mark Walker _________________________________________
Mark Walker has been employed for 17 years with state and local health departments in Colorado. He has coordinated Colorado’s Voluntary Cleanup Program since its inception in 1994, and serves as the Region 8 representative on the ASTSWMO SRBPO Task Force. Prior to joining Colorado's Voluntary Cleanup Program, Mr. Walker worked for 3 years with Colorado's Underground Storage Tank Program. In the early years of the Brownfields Initiative, he completed an assignment with EPA Region 8 in their Brownfields Program, and currently is working in a liaison capacity with other state agencies and non-profit organizations in promoting Brownfields and economic development.
Mr. Walker holds a B.S. in Microbiology from Colorado State University and an M.S. in Environmental Health from Colorado State University.
Michael Luke Wisniewski _______________________________
Luke Wisniewski is the Community Redevelopment Coordinator for the Maryland Department of the Environment’s Land Restoration Program. The Land Restoration Program encompasses the Voluntary Clean up Program/Brownfields, Federal Superfund Division, Controlled Hazardous Substance Enforcement and Site Assessment Divisions. Mr. Wisniewski is also active in BRAC-related activities, since Maryland will be gaining federal positions in the most recent round of BRAC. He has also serves on the Governor’s intra-agency coordination group for Smart Growth/Priority Places and is active in the state’s Environmental Justice Commission.
Mr. Wisniewski is a former mobile sources emissions engineer, having previously worked for MDE and in the private sector in the U.S. and in Europe. He has a degree in mechanical engineering from GMI Engineering and Management (now the Kettering Institute).
Mr. Wisniewski is the proud father of a four-month old son, and currently, his favorite hobby is sleeping.

Amy Yersavich is the Manager of Ohio EPA’s Voluntary Action Program. Her duties include overseeing all aspects of Ohio’s voluntary cleanup program for brownfield properties. Ms. Yersavich serves as the Region 5 representative and Vice-Chair of the ASTSWMO SRBPO Task Force. She is also a Board member of the Ohio Chapter of the National Brownfield Association and the chairman of the Ohio NBA’s Technical Subcommittee.
Prior to working for the Voluntary Action Program, Ms. Yersavich worked for 7 years as an Environmental Scientist in the Division of Air Pollution Control. Before working for Ohio EPA, she was a chemist in the Analytical Chemistry Research Section of Ross Laboratories. Ms. Yersavich has a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Ohio Dominican University and a Master’s degree in Atmospheric Sciences from The Ohio State University.
